Manquant d’inspiration, j’active l’enclume.
Mes mots retrouvent bonne humeur.

My book
This morning I turned the earth,
Laid it out along the blank page.
Fertilized by large worms,
Clinging to the roots and branches.
A stray mole is moved by my thoughts,
To the notes of wild, frantic music.
I then harvest all my secrets,
Planted right there,
Upon this canvas, spun by the spider.
I drink the ink, activate the pen,
Fleeing death, fleeing the fear that breeds routine !
In unison I drink the end of vows,
Words break free in your ocean eyes.
My book awakens... and I finally breathe.
And I finally breathe…
I breathe the air of the furious spirit,
Escaping from the dying great oak.
Acorns explode from the stricken tree,
By a death fleeing the rising sun.
The rising sun…
Suddenly, I fear to grasp the pen.
I fear the numbness that breeds routine.
Lacking inspiration, I strike the anvil,
Into your cleavage I dive and inhale.
Gently I drink the alcohol of your heart.
My words regain their cheer.
The contours of your lips intoxicate me.
And
In your ocean eyes I will draw the salt that makes one drunk.
By a death fleeing the rising sun.
The rising sun…
I tear the page, destroy the pen
Upon the anvil,
Fleeing death, fleeing the fear that breeds routine !
In unison I drink the end of vows,
Words break free in your ocean eyes.
My book awakens... and I finally breathe.
And I finally breathe…
